The Commercial Finance team plays a critical role in our business, partnering with senior leaders and their teams to provide clear and accurate planning and forecasting, helping to ensure our commercial success and achieve our mission of ‘helping every household make the most of their money’.

This is a fixed-term opportunity to cover maternity to last approximately 12 months from January 2022.

The immediate team are based in London but we could consider our other offices in Ewloe or Manchester too. Our new hybrid working model requires us to be in the office 40% of our time, the rest can be worked from home.

Why Our Role?

The Assistant Finance Analyst will work with the FP&A Manager to deliver clear and insightful reporting and analysis throughout the planning and reporting cycle. This role will be a key point of contact for the wider commercial finance team, ensuring the smooth-running of key processes including rolling forecasts, annual budget, strategy and monthly reporting.

What will you be doing?

What do you need to excel in this role?­­

We are looking for someone who has experience of building and analysis of reports within a commercial finance team, preferably in a retail/online business. You will need to have familiarity with reporting commitments of a listed business.

You should have experience of working with large amounts of numerical data using Microsoft excel and be able to use business intelligence tools.

We are a fast-paced environment so you will need to have the flexibility to adapt to new challenges and tight deadlines, working independently and needing to manage own workload and conflicting priorities. You will have a real customer and on ensuring that everything we do delivers a great outcome for our customers and work with different stakeholders in the business on a regular basis. Studying towards a professional accountancy qualification, most likely CIMA or ACCA is desirable.
