Role Summary
Our Talent Acquisition team sits at the heart of the Group, we are highly visible and very proud of our achievements in consistently delivering top talent to our agencies. The recruitment team has quickly grown over the last year and there are no plans to slow down. We are a diverse team of 16 who have backgrounds in recruitment and Executive Search, and we celebrate our points of difference from each other. We are a strong and united team, down to earth and supportive of each other.
We are looking for a highly ambitious Early Talent Apprentice to join our amazing in-house talent attraction team. As the Early Talent Apprentice, you will be passionate about the fast-paced world of recruitment with a drive that brings out the best of our team.
You will primarily be responsible for supporting the team in their roles within all the different elements. With the focus of adding value, your role as an apprentice will be to contribute to the efficiency of the team, through support of the functional areas. The flexibility and responsiveness required will allow you to develop a wide range of skills.
We are looking for proactivity and passion, and someone keen to get experience in an admin role.
Life as an Early Talent Apprentice at OMG UK:
- Recruitment admin to support the Early Talent Team, including chasing hiring managers, diary management, feedback collation
- Scheduling interviews with both the hiring managers and candidates and following up with written confirmation and diary invites
- Keeping our Excel trackers up to date to ensure accurate reporting for early talent hires
- Handling administrative aspects of the ATS for our roles such as uploading roles and candidates
- Sending out feedback surveys
- Helping and facilitating partner events, including confirming speakers, attendees, and agenda
- Content creation and ideas for Early Talent social media
- Support the Early Talent Team in outreach including apprentice talks
- Engage with apprentices across Group to gather insight and case studies
Competencies / Personal Attributes
- Highly organised as this role is heavily admin based
- Strong communication skills
- Adaptable, early talent is fast paced and can change very quickly
- Love processes – you’ll be using our systems and will need to be comfortable with processes and protocols
- Knowledge of Excel
- Need to demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills both internally and externally
- Strong organisation and diary management skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and of their own initiative
- Reliable and punctual
- High attention to detail
- Pro-active, solutions orientated and happy to work as part of a supported team
- Able to handle multiple tasks and prioritise to best effect
