Neuroinclusive Performance Management

Workshop Overview

Performance management that's fair for every kind of mind.

1-hour – Virtual – Up to 20 participants

Managing Performance Fairly is a 1-hour neuroinclusive performance management workshop, part of our Neuroinclusion for Managers Programme. It gives managers the knowledge and practical tools to distinguish between genuine performance concerns and unmet support needs so every employee is assessed fairly, supported appropriately and managed in a way that is both legally sound and genuinely effective.

  • What this delivers
  • Why it matters
  • How it works
  • Who's it for
  • What this leads to

Managing performance in a neurodiverse team is one of the areas managers find most difficult - and most high risk. Not because the principles are different but because without the right lens, it's easy to misread what's actually happening and manage in a way that's unfair, ineffective and potentially unlawful.

This session gives managers that lens.

  • The ability to distinguish between genuine performance issues, capability challenges, unmet support needs and the impact of reasonable adjustments not yet in place
  • A clear framework for approaching performance concerns in a way that is fair, consistent and legally sound
  • Confidence to have early, honest performance conversations before situations escalate into formal processes
  • The skills to set clear, neuroinclusive performance expectations that give every employee a genuine opportunity to succeed
  • The ability to recognise when a performance concern is actually an adjustment need in disguise - and know what to do about it
  • A practical understanding of how to balance inclusion and accountability without feeling like they have to choose between them

Enquire about this workshop

This session is for people managers and team leads who want to manage performance fairly, consistently and with the legal and practical confidence to get it right.

It works particularly well for managers currently navigating a performance concern involving a neurodivergent employee, organisations where performance management processes are inconsistently applied across the management population, and HR teams who want their managers to approach capability and performance with greater skill and awareness.

This session is part of the Neuroinclusion for Managers Programme - a series of one-hour modules giving managers the practical tools to lead neurodiverse teams with clarity and confidence.

Interested in how the full programme or module could work for your organisation? We'd love to talk.
