Neuroinclusive Communication

Workshop Overview

Small shifts in how you communicate. Big differences in how people experience work.

1-hour – Virtual/In person – Unlimited participants

Neuroinclusive Communication is a 1-hour interactive workshop, part of our Neuroinclusion for Colleagues Programme. It gives teams a practical, immediately applicable understanding of how different brains process information and communicate, and the simple, concrete adjustments that make everyday communication clearer, fairer and more effective for everyone.

  • What this delivers
  • Why it matters
  • How it works
  • Who's it for
  • What this leads into

Most communication breakdowns in neurodiverse teams aren't caused by bad intentions. They're caused by the assumption that everyone processes information, interprets tone and responds to communication in the same way.

This session challenges that assumption and gives colleagues the practical tools to communicate in a way that actually works across different thinking styles.

  • A clear understanding of how different brains process information and why the same message can land very differently depending on who receives it
  • The ability to recognise the most common communication friction points in neurodiverse teams and what's actually causing them
  • Simple, practical adjustments to tone, clarity and structure that make communication more inclusive without overcomplicating every interaction
  • Confidence using inclusive language in everyday conversations, emails, meetings and feedback
  • Strategies that reduce the assumptions and misinterpretations that create unnecessary friction and confusion

Most people assume they're good communicators. And most people are - for the colleagues who think and process information the same way they do.

In a neurodiverse team, that assumption creates friction. Messages get misinterpreted. Tone gets misread. Instructions that seem clear to the person giving them create confusion for the person receiving them. And because nobody means any harm, the friction goes unaddressed and the same breakdowns keep happening.

The cost is real. Relationships that never quite work. Meetings that consistently miss the mark. Colleagues who disengage not because they're not trying but because the way information reaches them doesn't work for how they think.

Small shifts in how colleagues communicate change all of that. Not a communication overhaul. Just practical adjustments that make everyday working life clearer and more inclusive for everyone in the team.

1 hour | Unlimited attendees | Delivered virtually | Interactive and discussion-led | Part of the Neuroinclusion for Colleagues Programme

This session is for colleagues at every level who want to communicate more effectively across different thinking and working styles.

It works particularly well for teams where communication friction is already present, organisations building a more neuroinclusive culture across their workforce, and as a natural companion to the Neuroinclusion for Colleagues Programme.

This session is part of the Neuroinclusion for Colleagues Programme - a series of one-hour modules that build genuine neuroinclusive awareness and skill across your workforce.

Interested in how the full programme could work for your organisation? We'd love to talk.
