Business Support Administrator
Location: Bristol, UK – Hybrid, Travel 10% of the time.

Role:
The Business Support Administrator role will be based at our office in Bristol and consist of providing support to the Associate Director of Integration and Strategy and ensuring that all governance tasks and duties are performed. This is a high-profile role which will provide exposure to the entire Logistics and Mission Support Leadership Team.
This role would suit an early careers individual looking to get into a support role. You would be working with and directly supporting senior stakeholders within the programme to achieve strict deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Management of the Governance Calendar and Mailbox to ensure schedules optimised
- Planning, arranging and coordinating weekly, monthly and quarterly Leadership, Partner and Customer meetings
- Development and co-ordination and production of the material to support Leadership, Partner and Customer meetings – providing appropriate editing to deliver a professional output
- Minuting, monitoring and escalating completion of actions from Leadership, Partner and Customer meetings
- Tracking and reporting key deliverables in accordance with the Governance Calendar – identifying opportunities for further improvement/rationalisation
- Providing ad hoc support to the Managing Director and Leadership team (including associated teams)
- Lead governance projects/assignments, including driving continuous improvement projects across the Integration and Strategy processes and systems
- Conduct analysis of problem areas to identify solutions and new working practices
- Take a lead role in the delivery of Team building sessions
- Act as deputy to the Associate Director of Strategy & Integration on all governance matters
Skills Required:

- Data interrogation and manipulation
- Ability to liaise effectively with the Leadership team
- Ability to work on own initiative and to tight deadlines, prioritising in a demanding environment
- Advanced experience in using Microsoft Office (including ability to produce high quality presentations)
- Previous administration experience, ideally in a senior level environment
- HND Business Administration is desirable or equivalent experience
Clearance Requirements:
- BPSS Pre-screening required to Start (Baseline Personnel Security Standard background check)

The Logistics Commodities & Services Transformation (LCST) Programme for the UK Ministry of Defence is a critical effort to enhance and improve the UK’s defence supply chain. The programme provides essential services such as storage and distribution for the MOD’s material, including a global freight service and the procurement and inventory management of 70,000 commodity NATO Stock Number (NSNs).
