Role:

As an Advanced Electrical Engineer you will play a key role in the design and development of advanced electronic control systems. Reporting directly to the Electronics Engineering Manager you will work out of the Yeovil, Somerset location, on a hybrid work schedule.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design requirements and specifications
• Design and develop high-quality printed circuit board assemblies
• Utilize industry-standard design tools to create innovative and optimized PCB layouts
• Perform design reviews and ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices
• Work closely with manufacturing teams to ensure successful production and assembly of PCBs

Qualifications required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

  ·         Demonstrable experience in electronics design and PCB layout

  ·         Proficiency in industry-standard design tools (e.g., Altium, Cadence)

  ·         Strong knowledge of PCB design principles and best practices

  ·         Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
