Overview of the role
Garrison, an award-winning cybersecurity company, is offering a fantastic opportunity to work with within its Operations department – specifically we are seeking an ambitious and hardworking individual looking for hands-on experience within a unique and highly innovative company, and the opportunity to develop within the organisation.
You will work closely with the Company Secretarial Manager to help manage the logistics and smooth running of Garrison’s operations, gaining valuable skills and experience in planning, relationships management and negotiation.
As a steadily growing and agile company there is plenty of room for personal development and you will receive the support you need to evolve your skill set. You will receive ample guidance for new tasks, but day-to-day we are autonomous, organized and proactive.
Please note that this role is on-site, and you will be expected to attend the office in Central London (Waterloo) daily.
Key Responsibilities
- Co-ordinating key travel arrangements with business partners
- Stationery and general Office orders
- Help to execute on-site functions/events and assist in the organisation of company meetings and workshops
- Event planning, finding appropriate venues for work-related breakfasts, dinners, drinks, etc
- Preparation of boardrooms and other key business meetings
- Preparation of materials for use in board meetings and other key business meetings
- Professional services- booking notaries r lawyers for signatures/ID confirmations
- Recognising the industry that Garrison operates in, and appreciating the importance of following Garrison’s information security policies.
Skills & Experience
- Able to multi-task and coordinate with multiple teams effectively.
- Pro-active and able to work well independently as well as part of a wider team.
- A problem solver keen to collaborate with others.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Detail-oriented, highly organised, proactive, pragmatic, strong time management skills.
- Confident using the Microsoft Office Suite is highly beneficial.
- Happy to learn new skills and ask for help
- Ideally a keen interest in the tech and/or cybersecurity industries
