Neurodiversity Deep Dive
Workshop Overview
A deeper exploration of neurodiversity in the workplace.
Neurodiversity Deep Dive is a 3.5-hour interactive workshop, part of our Neuroinclusion for Colleagues Programme. It gives teams the time and space to move beyond surface-level awareness and into the kind of genuine, grounded understanding that shifts perspective, changes behaviour and makes inclusion something the whole team owns rather than something HR manages.
- What this delivers
- Why it matters
- How it works
- Who's it for
- What this leads into
This session goes further than an introductory workshop can. It takes the awareness and language of the 101 and builds on it - exploring what neurodiversity actually looks like in everyday working life and creating the kind of honest, open conversations that generate real shifts in how teams think and work together.
- A deeper, more honest understanding of what neurodiversity really looks like day to day - beyond definitions and terminology
- Confidence using inclusive, respectful language in the conversations that matter
- A genuine understanding of common neurodivergent conditions and how they may show up in the workplace
- The ability to challenge the myths and assumptions that quietly shape how neurodivergent colleagues are perceived and treated
- An understanding of hidden experiences including masking, burnout and sensory overload and why they matter for how teams work together
- Honest reflection on how team dynamics and everyday working norms can unintentionally create barriers
- Practical, realistic ways to support colleagues without overcomplicating it or making it feel like a big deal
The 90 minute introduction to neurodiversity creates awareness. This 3.5 hour session creates understanding.
There's a meaningful difference between knowing what neurodiversity is and genuinely understanding what it feels like to navigate a workplace that wasn't designed for how your brain works. Between recognising the terminology and knowing how to use it in a real conversation. Between being aware that masking exists and understanding what it costs the people doing it every day.
Most colleagues want to get this right. They just haven't had the space, the depth or the honest conversation to get there.
This session creates that space. The result is teams that communicate better, make fewer assumptions and approach difference with curiosity rather than discomfort. Inclusion stops feeling like a policy to follow and starts feeling like something the whole team genuinely owns.
Half day | Up to 20 participants | Virtual or in person | Interactive, discussion-led and reflective
This session is designed for smaller teams and organisations who want the depth and impact of a full neuroinclusion programme in a single half-day session.
Rather than starting with a 90-minute introduction and building from there, this session does it all in one - covering the foundations, going deeper on the real workplace experience of neurodivergent colleagues and creating the shared language and honest conversation that actually shifts how teams work together.
It works particularly well for smaller organisations where a full modular programme isn't the right fit, teams that want a meaningful, high-impact session rather than a lighter introductory workshop, and organisations that want to create a genuine cultural shift rather than just building basic awareness.
This session sits within the Neuroinclusion for Colleagues Programme - a series of modules that build genuine neuroinclusive awareness and practical skill across your workforce.
