Software Automation / Integration Engineer

TGW is hiring an engineer to design and build automated testing and validation tools for its warehouse automation software and control systems. Your work makes sure systems run correctly before they go live for customers.

Full time, UK-based. The role involves travel and longer stays on customer sites during testing, commissioning and go-live. Closing date: not stated, so apply soon.

What you’ll do

• Design, build and maintain automated test solutions
• Develop reusable automation tools in C# and Java
• Run automated tests in emulation, bench and live customer environments
• Build and maintain regression test suites
• Check integrations between software, control systems and operational technology
• Analyse test results, investigate failures and help fix defects
• Support commissioning and go-live testing on customer sites

What you’ll need

• Strong software development experience in C# and/or Java
• Experience building automated testing or automation solutions
• A solid understanding of functional, integration, regression and system testing
• Experience troubleshooting alongside development teams
• Knowledge of how software and control systems communicate
• Willingness to travel and work on customer sites for extended periods
